LFSA(Malaysia Labuan)

The Money Broking License of Labuan Financial Services Authority(LFSA) becomes the most popular financial broker license in Asia in recent years.Established in 1996,LFSA is Malaysia’s offshore financial regulator with more than 6,500 offshore companies,300 authorized financial institutions operating in Malaysia, including some of the world's largest banks.

LFSA Financial License includes Investment Banking License and Money Broking License.Most of Forex Brokers apply Money Broking License.

1.LFSA Money Broking License holder requirement：

(1)Maintain an operational furnished office in Labuan；

(2)500k Malaysian Ringgit Paid-Up Capital that can be withdrawn after capital verification；

(3)Must appoint a LFSA certified external auditor to do annual audit and report to LFSA;

(4)Maximum Leverage 100:1；

(5)Ensure that the persons in controls, directors and principal officer meet the fit and proper person requirements as specified in the Guidelines on Fit and Proper Requirements issued by Labuan FSA；

(6)Ensure that the counterparties, i.e. principal broker and liquidity provider are regulated by a recognised supervisory or regulatory authority；

(7)Data/system security and arrangements for IT systems maintenance, resilience and support must be supported by a dedicated IT staff

3.Procedure：

Register Labuan company and open company bank account-500k paid-up capital and capital verification-Submit LFB-MB Form to LFSA-LFSA Review-Approve-Issue License

4.Application Period：2-3 months
